Audible // Women of Fire // Integrated Campaign

Mujeres de Fuego

In Michoacán, the women of Cherán, have been defending their forest against illegal logging for over ten years. Women of Fire is the type of documentary that depicts indigenous, peaceful women left with no choice, but to fight. Audible came to Makiné to visually narrate their story.

Thinking

Audible continues to serve the Hispanic market with high-quality and culturally relevant content. For Mujeres de Fuego, they were looking for unique and impactful visuals to depict the story of the brave women of Cherán. The documentary, which is narrated by Grammy-award winning folk song writer and artist Natalia Lafourcade, represents Audible’s commitment to underrepresented voices and social activism.

Doing

Makiné produced another 360 campaign - “Mujeres de Fuego.” The marketing assets were inspired by the audiobook cover and developed into a fully fleshed-out campaign that included a trailer, social media content, digital banners and key art, among many other deliverables.
